Baltimore, MD: Danielle Green Owner
Danielle is a lifetime pet owner and lover. She has fond memories as a toddler of her first cat, Fluffy, and German Shepard mix, Sputnik. Growing up having a love for animals and the unconditional love they bring, was one of the catalysts in her decision to become a Vegetarian.
Throughout her life she has lived, owned and worked with many animals in many different capacities. In her corporate career, she struggled to have a work/life balance and spend time with the most important man in her life, her son. She's gone through the stress of leaving furry ‘babies’ with friends or family, never having the peace of mind to truly relax, because maybe they weren't "dog people" or didn't truly feel comfortable with that particular breed. Living "greener" has been a part of her life before it was "in" and is second nature to her, she's often called a flower child, preferring the trees and the grass, instead of being cooped up in indoor spaces, one thing her and your furry companion are sure to have in common.
It was a natural progression for Danielle to combine her passion for animals with her entrepreneurial ambitions to seek an opportunity in the pet care industry. Danielle honestly believes that it takes a great team of people who care about the work, to make it work. She is excited to bring her background and love of animals to Tails of the City, establishing a legacy for her future generations, by making this a family business.
